1. Emailing – For all processes that allow emails to be sent there is now the option to set up a standard default message for each document type. These are set up via Setups, 28. General Notes. The default codes for each document type are as follows:  Invoices – EMAILINVME;   Payslips – EMAILPAYME;   Worksheets – EMAILWRKME;   Stock Issues – EMAILSTKME;   Purchase Orders – EMAILPOMES;   Quality Control – EMAILQCMES;   Risk Assessment – EMAILRAMES;   Statements – EMAILSTAME;   Other Site Reports – EMAILSITME
  2. Invoicing – The option to export Invoices to the portal has been added to all places where invoices can be printed/emailed. When exporting to the portal an option to send and email notifying the client that documents have been loaded on the portal is available. In this case the default message is loaded from PORTALMESS (as 1 above).
  3. Complaints – In line with the future addition of a help desk on the portal the complaints procedures have been renamed as Cases. There have also been several other changes to the Cases procedures.

    a) Each new case is given a unique number. When first running this new version the existing cases are each given a new unique number (starting at 1). b) The action required and response fields have both been extended to 400 characters and the ‘who complained’ extended to 100 characters. c) If a case is sent to a mobile for action then when it is received back from the mobile the existing case is updated as opposed to creating a new case as currently occurs.

  4.  Staff Notes Log report – This is a new report and has been added to the Pay reports menu. It allows the reporting of notes with selection be staff & data range with options to select a Division, Area and/or a Client.
  5. All Site Summary – A new parameter has been added to the payroll that changes the display of the All Site Summary in the pay cycle, to include budgeted hours (Some users may already have this). This parameter is on the Setups, 11.Payroll Cycles, Details screen and is set for each pay cycle. 6. Pensions (workplace) – The ability to amend the postponement days for a worker has been enhanced such that it will now also prompt the user to choose a new Deferral Date. (This is the date when auto-enrolment or re-postponement will take place, subject to age/earnings criteria). Now, whenever the Postponement Day’s value is amended (even if it is overtyped with the same value) – a secondary screen will appear on exit from the field, prompting you to set the required Deferral Date. NOTE – the deferral date chosen is independent of the Postponement days at this point – which allows you to leave the Postponement value ‘as is’ whilst pushing the Deferral Date into a future period. On this future Deferral Date – the Postponement Days figure will then be used for any (re)-postponement period, if the worker is eligible for (re)postponement at that future date. Note – this feature has been added to allow the correction of genuine mistakes. Its use allows you to bypass previous validations as to what the correct Deferral date should be, so it is the users’ responsibility to ensure they set the date appropriately.
  6. 5.03.008 Pensions (workplace) – The ability to enter an Opt-Out reference number has been added to the Pension’s tab. This opt out reference will be reported in the extract file to NEST to avoid the need to add it manually.
